Three states have introduced a mandatory recycling per set fee.  This appears to be the wave of the future and we anticipate that many more states will move in this direction to have integrated full life cycle costing.

Simmons has recently partnered with Global Sustainability Solutions (GSS) to handle recycling services for hospitality clients.  New product buyers are offered this option which includes installation, removal and recycling services (or removal and recycling only).

Samelson-Chatelane introduced the following new products, several building on previous ones:

Fusion XIV, introduced as the next generation of multi-colored textured patterns and colors – priced more competitively.  There are 6 fabrics in 85 color ways.

Perspectives Print Collection ushered in the next generation of decorative high-performance print designs on the Medley base cloth.  It features 13 exclusive designs in 63 color ways.

Mulberry, the latest Faux Silk solid, has the look and feel very close to a textured Dupioni Silk.  Yarn-dyed for a rich iridescent texture, Mulberry has the feel of a natural fiber but the durability of a synthetic one.  It’s available in 36 fashion-forward colors.

The Decora XI Collection (faux leather) is the next generation of a Graffiti-Free Top Coat plus, allowing Indigo (Jeans) Dye to be simply removed with mild soap and water.  This new technology features Forbid, which is not just a surface treatment but cross-linked into the structure of the vinyl – allowing multiple cleanings.  It features (5) patterns in (87) classic and trendy color families.

No Boundaries III is a multi-dimensional program, ideal for all window treatments, drapery, side panels/cornices, etc.  It’s also ideal for top-of-the-bed applications including scarves, duvets, shams, pillows and accessories.  In addition, all patterns may also be used for upholstery when soil & stain treatment, plus backing, are added.  There are (11) exclusive designs and (97) colorways.

DI offers made-to-order top of the bed treatment, foundation covers, draperies and blinds.  Premeasure and installation are available.

Their patented foundation cover, called ItFits!™, is the best fitting foundation cover in the industry! The key difference is patented Elastic Triangles vs. the obsolete standard elastic band around the bottom perimeter.  This creates the only consistently crisp, tailored looking foundation cover and eliminates the sagging and drooping so consistently seen in covers from others.
