Aqua Hospitality Carpets introduces its Shadow Shape Collection, comprised of a series of patterns inspired by natural light filtering through common objects.  Constructed of Avalar 6 100% solution-dyed nylon, each of the first six new patterns uses Aqua’s unique patented 3-ply yarn technology to create some fascinating effects.  Also now available is Aqua’s first Design Pattern book, on display in Las Vegas last May, offering 4 very different, very unique pattern collections.

Gloster Furniture will release its new 2012 contract catalog in late February.  As usual, included are some spectacular new designs from Europe!  Their new and improved web site will go live in late January.

Seura has just completed installing the Sheraton Chicago as well as the Hyatt Indianapolis.  With 100% domestic production (excluding the TV units), Seura is capable of turning a back lit mirror job in 8-10 weeks from start to finish!

Kimball Hospitality has joined The Hospitality Sustainable Purchasing Consortium as a Founding Member.  The Hospitality Sustainable Purchasing Consortium (HSPC), created and led by MindClick SGM, is a collaborative organization to help hotel owners purchase products that both reduce their properties’ environmental impact, and contribute to guest comfort, health and well being.

Kimball Seating has released its new catalog, with more upholstery and sofa options.  Kimball also recently revamped their web site, with a new look and easier navigation.  Photos of custom installations have been added, as well as Links to eBrochures for the Bella and Bentley Collections. Also added was a print feature on all seating collection items and the listing of finishes has been expanded.

Finally, Kimball is pleased to announce its new domestic factory in Lexington, NC, where time-honored artisan craftsmanship and modern technology can both be found.   Combined with its seating plant in Martinsville VA, Kimball is now producing one third of its sales domestically.

Alger International and Triton Chandelier introduced a new catalog in the spring of 2011.  Products are presented in three separate sections:  hotel, restaurant and casino.  Purchasing and design companies are listed.  These installations are definitely impressive!

Kichler Lighting has released its new 2012 catalog and a new lamp catalog.  The new catalog includes the efficiency lighting products which can add to any Leeds effort underway.

Woodard Hospitality has released its new 2012 catalog.  

Challenger Lighting has released its 2011 catalog. Their recently launched new web site includes the complete catalog, with easy to use search features.

Uttermost has released its 2012 mirror/accessory and lamp catalogs. As always, their product design is superb with new products in mirrors, lighting, botanicals, accent furniture and clocks.  Additionally, some of their mirror production is beginning to shift back to domestic production.

Simmons Hospitality is now the Preferred Inner Spring Spec for all Marriott brands. Simmons has also been approved for the Quality Inn brand of Choice Hotels and is now the sole source for Starwood’s Westin, Sheraton, 4 Points Sheraton and aloft brands.

Samelson-Chatelane introduced its Eco-Evolution Print Collection – a follow-up to the Green Dreams, Eco-Centric and Eco-Options Collections.  It features 11 patterns in 46 coordinated color ways.  Also new is Dublin, a new Faux Linen solid pattern.  It is washable, inherently F.R. and ideal for window, top-of-the bed, bed skirts and shower curtains. Dim Sun is another new collection featuring (5) patterns in (59) color ways, each self-lined and flame retardant, providing light control and privacy enhancement.

Their most recent introduction, the Fusion IX Collection, is the next generation of textures and novelty weaves, using fresh chenille yarns.  Like the Fusion VIII Collection, this upholstery collection is well priced and meets most guestroom price points.

The Sheer Elegance VI Collection continues to be very popular.  Featuring (32) patterns and (63) color ways, the collection includes Embroideries, Burnouts, Jacquards, Clips, Dobbies, Slubs, Nubs & Textures.  All are flame resistant, except the (4) Burnouts, which can be F.R. treated.
